What to Expect

A standard training course takes place over two days. If you have a lot of machines, a third day may be necessary, which would be a continuation of day 2.

Day 1: We cover the Secondary Core, which is mainly theory.

I will bring my own computer. I will not need internet access.

You will need to read the rest of your portfolio and gather some evidence together.

We will need to be in a room with facilities to connect my laptop to your projection system. I have an HDMI port on my laptop.

Day 2: We work with your machines, making small items (I dislike wasting materials just for an exercise). We discover what the machines can do, how to use them safely and how to care for them.

If all the participants are technicians, the course is weighted more towards maintenance of the machines.

We will need uninterrupted access to all the machines. Please arrange for all classes to be relocated out of the workshop(s).

If you have participants who are new to the subject, I am happy to offer a third day so that everyone can have more time in a supported environment to practice what they have learned.

I am quite flexible and will work around your timetable when scheduling breaks.
